Michael Sklar

Mr. Sklar has extensive experience applying lean production principles and Six Sigma problem solving methods to assist manufacturers, service sector companies, public sector organizations, and human services agencies. He has designed and implemented performance appraisal and personnel development systems, balanced scorecards, and organizational restructurings in multiple organizations.
Mr. Sklar has worked with governmental bodies to develop and implement practical solutions to complex environmental and regulatory challenges. He has designed ISO 14001-compliant environmental management systems. He has worked with the Rocky Mountain Institute to implement Natural Capitalism (SM) principles around the world.
He also assists clients interested in improving their financial, human resource, and environmental performance – their Triple Bottom Line sustainability -- through P3 Solutions, LLC.
His clients have included organizations of all sizes and in a wide range of industries. His better-known clients include General Motors, Bridgestone/Firestone, Sun Microsystems, DTE Energy, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and the Southeast Michigan Council of Governments.
He holds a Master of Science degree from University of Michigan in Natural Resource Policy and a B.S.E. degree from Princeton University in Mechanical Engineering; he also completed a bachelor's-equivalent certificate program in Economics from Princeton's Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. |
