Dianne L. Haas, Ph.D., R.N.
Dr. Haas is an experienced health care consultant who has held a number of executive level positions in various industry settings. Dr. Haas’ consulting activities represent areas of clinical and research administration, assessment of clinical programs, program redesign for inpatient and outpatient operations, project planning and management, and strategic and fund development planning. She possesses in depth experience with the application of continuous quality improvement concepts, benchmarking and productivity analysis, improved program efficiencies, and utilization management. Her work experience has included staff nurse and clinical nurse specialist positions in both inpatient and ambulatory settings in clinical pediatrics, child/adolescent psychiatry, and adult medical surgical general practice and intensive care areas. She has held executive leadership positions in both community and academic medical centers, the Michigan Department of Community Health, and community based non-profits related to both operations and research. Dr. Haas brings to her client’s a unique blend of understanding and in depth knowledge of academics, research, clinical operations, and health care finance including a strong background in management of third party payer contracting, patient billing, management of accounts receivable and deployment of clinical information systems. She has served in appointed health care advisory roles for local, state and federal agencies. She has presented at numerous local and national meetings, has multiple publications and has conducted funded research.
Her clients have included: William Beaumont Hospital, Research Institute; University of Illinois, Chicago, Department of Disability and Human Development; Henry Ford Health System, Corporate Legal Affairs; private practice OB/GYN physician group, The Hospital for Sick Children, Washington D.C., Providence Alaska Medical Center, Anchorage, Alaska. Her community service work has included efforts with the Michigan Chapter, March of Dimes, Boys and Girls Clubs of Southeastern Michigan, and the City of Detroit, Head Start program to name a few.
She obtained both her masters and doctoral degrees from Wayne State University, College of Nursing in Detroit, Michigan where she minored in business administration.
