Ms. Burton has over 20 years of experience in nursing and leadership which provided her the opportunity to work with some excellent leaders that have focused on the care of the patients. Nancy sits on several advisory boards for both healthcare leadership and nursing. She has worked with both Henry Ford Hospital and the Detroit Medical Center as well as with Cerner Corporation, a healthcare technology corporations.
Ms. Burton has been requested to serve as a mentor within the healthcare system as well as the nationally known Menttium 100 program. She is also a Diplomat with the American College of Healthcare Executives and sits on the Editorial Board for “Healthcare Executive”. She is a past president of Michigan Organization of Nurse Executives and currently is a member of MHA Legislative Policy Panel and a Regent Advisory Board member for the Michigan Health and Executive Group (MHEGA)
Ms. Burton has acquired her associated and bachelors in nursing, certification in nursing administration and in 2003 completed the J&J Wharton Executive Nursing Fellowship Program at University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business. |
