Stephen H. Velick
Mr. Velick joined ASI Consulting Group, LLC. in 2004 leading their Health Care Practice Division. Prior to that he spent 36 years in the Henry Ford Health System and held numerous leadership positions including CEO Community Hospital Division, CEO Henry Ford Hospital and Chief Administrative Officer of the 900 physician Henry Ford Medical Group. He is an accomplished senior health care executive with an exceptional record of bringing innovative approaches to health care delivery. He led the Total Quality Management efforts at Henry Ford Hospital fostering a lasting cultural change with recognized improvements in the quality of care, numerous process improvements and improved financial performance. Mr. Velick was active in the community on a local, state and national level. He was a past chairman of the Metro Section Governance Council of the American Hospital Association, a former board member of the Michigan Health and Hospital Association, also past chair of the Southeast Michigan Health Council, and Past Chair of the New Center Council. His other affiliations included various hospital boards, the Statewide Reimbursement Committee, the Van Patrick Memorial Foundation and is a Member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Mr. Velick has a BA and MBA in Business from Wayne State University, Detroit Michigan . In addition he has completed the Advanced Leadership in Healthcare Program from the University of Michigan Business School. |
