Patricia K. Stoltz, PA, MHSA

Ms. Stoltz has fifteen years of experience as a leader in quality improvement at Henry Ford Health System, where she consulted with senior executives on performance measurement and improvement, including the design and implementation of large-scale change initiatives, such as development and deployment of mission, vision, and values; reduction in surgical site infections; and reengineering of behavioral health services delivery.
She served on the Board of Examiners for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award for six years (1999-2004) and as a Senior Examiner participated in site visits to some of the nation's highest performing organization. During the mid-1990s she helped draft and pilot the first Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence for health care. Currently she serves on the Panel of Judges for the Michigan Quality Leadership Award, a Baldrige-based state assessment and recognition program.
Ms. Stoltz is affiliated with the Massachusetts General Hospital Center for Performance Excellence, led by Kate Goonan, MD, a small yet diverse group of senior professionals from multiple sectors who provide customized education and assessment services to health care leaders committed to achieving organizational performance excellence and transformational change.
With Dr. Goonan, she authored “Leadership and Management Principles for Outcomes Oriented Organizations,” which appeared in Medical Care the April 2004.
Trish holds a Master's Degree in Health Services Administration from the University of Michigan , School of Public Health . She was trained as a physician's assistant and spent ten years in direct patient care delivery.
